You want to tour Australia?

Australia is a HUGE place. I know everyone knows that, but for many Europeans, (this writer included) it really is hard to imagine. So if you are going to tour then there are two things you need to avoid. (Well three if you include kangaroos!).

The first danger is excess kilometre fees. 250kms in Britain may be a good day out, In Australia it may not get you to the next gas station. 500km days are the norm.750km days are often, and 1000+km days happen.
